Police Release Photo of Package Thief Suspect

The Alameda Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a recent theft.

A photo of the suspect, from a residential security camera, appears at right.

According to an APD bulletin, "On February 19, 2013, a daytime theft occurred in the 1100 block of Rosewood Way. The above pictured subject removed a package from the front doorstep from a residence in your neighborhood. The theft was captured on a residential security camera.

"If you recognize the above pictured person, or you have information that could assist in the investigation, please call the Alameda Police Department. The case number to refer to is 13-934. 

"This is an advisory only. There is no indication of an increase in thefts in your neighborhood.
