Woman Rescued From Bay Waters Off Crown Memorial State Beach

The woman's injuries were not life-threatening, according to fire officials.

Firefighters rescued a woman from San Francisco Bay off the coast of Alameda Thursday evening, fire officials said.
 
The woman was reported in the water off Crown Memorial State Beach near Shoreline and Westline drives at 6:54 p.m., according to the fire department.
 
She was about 125 yards off the shore and firefighters deployed two rescue swimmers and a boat from the beach. They pulled the woman out of the water and onto the boat and had her back on shore at 7:16 p.m., fire officials said.
 
She was taken to Alameda Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. No one else was injured, fire officials said.
