25 Low-Income Apartments Proposed For Alameda Landing

The City Council will hear about the project Tuesday night.


On Tuesday night the Alameda City Council will hear an update on the affordable housing component of the Alameda Landing project.

The Mercury News reports that 25 low income apartments are being proposed as part of a 275-home plan for the 77-acre property that was once part of the Alameda Naval Air Station. 

Construction has already begun of retail elements including a Target and Safeway.
