Alameda painter Susan Sperry is expressing her political views in an artistic way.

She brought out her painting "Sink Or Swim The Nation" to display in front of the City of Alameda Democratic Club this afternoon at South Shore Center.

The painting was inspired during the 2008 elections and the financial crisis the country was going through.
