City Seeks Applicants for Advisory Committee

Interested in serving on a citizens advisory committee to the alameda County Transportation Commission? Complete an application by Oct. 25.

From a City of Alameda press release:

The City Council is soliciting applications from residents who would like to serve on the Alameda County Transportation Commission Citizens Advisory Committee.

The appointee will serve a two-year term. The Committee meets the third Thursday of the month, five times per year, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Committee discusses local transportation needs and issues and serves as the liaison between the Alameda County Transportation Commission and local communities and businesses on the implementation of Measure B programs and projects.

Application forms may be obtained from, and filed with, the City Clerk, City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Ave.,, Room 380; via the City’s website (http://www.cityofalamedaca.gov/City-Hall/ApplicationForms) or by telephoning the Office of the City Clerk at 510-747-4800.

Interested persons are encouraged to apply by Oct. 25, 2012.
