Council Approves Changes to Park, Recreation Fees

Changes range from fees for inflatable jumpers to those for youth and adult sports teams.

The Alameda City Council approved a long list of changes to city park and recreation fees Tuesday night, according to a report on The Alamedan.

They include a major change to the way the city assesses athletic field use fees for youth leagues, along with a new fee for inflatable jumpers, increased fees for the annual Breakfast with Santa and Santa's Visit, and a new way to calculate fees for large group events, among others.

You may read more about the changes in "Council to Consider Changes to Park, Recreation Fees" and on The Alamedan's website.
