The Youth Advisory Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. Meetings are held in Conference Room 360 at Alameda City Hall.
The purpose of the Youth Commission is
- To represent youth voice in Alameda city government
- To act in an advisory capacity, review, and make recommendations about municipal matters referred to the Youth Commission by the Mayor, City Council, and other City of Alameda commissions.
- To make policy recommendations to the Mayor and City Council about issues of concern to Alameda youth.
