High Street On-Ramp to I-880 Closed Tonight

The northbound on-ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday, April 26, to Friday, April 27, at 5 a.m. for construction work

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the northbound on-ramp to Interstate 880 at High Street in Oakland for construction work from Thursday, April 26, at 11 p.m. until Friday, April 27, at 5 a.m., Caltrans announced Thursday.

The closure, part of the the I-880 High Street Seismic Retrofit Project, is for work on the northbound I-880 mainline bridge over High Street.

Travelers will be able to take High Street to International Boulevard, then turn onto 42nd Avenue to access the northbound I-880 on-ramp there, Caltrans said.
