The Alameda Recreation and Park Department is currently accepting applications for Park Ranger positions. Park rangers patrol and monitor parks, fields and recreation facilities administered by the Parks Department; enforce City and Department rules, regulations, codes and ordinances; greet and provide information to park visitors; and resolve disputes or conflicts among park users.
This position must work independently with only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise and are fully aware of the Department and Park Ranger program operating procedures and policies. Park Rangers are classified as part-time, non-benefitted employees.
