Alameda's Public Works has installed new stop signs at Lincoln Avenue and Fourth Street and at Santa Clara Avenue and Fourth Street, according to an Alameda Police Department announcement.
These two intersections are now controlled with stop signs in all four directions.
"Please be careful when traveling through these areas as motorists may not immediately recognize the changes," says Sgt. Ron Simmons of the APD Traffic Division.
