We want you to have one day when parking on Webster Street is a pleasure — no rooting around for coins in the bottom of your purse or pocket, no swiping of your debit card, no running outside frantic, mid-conversation, to feed the meter.
Alameda Patch has paid for dozens of parking meterson Webster Street for Saturday, November 24, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, keep in mind, the regular time limits will still be applied to ALL meters.
Staff, including Editor Analisa Harangozo, Regional Editor Alex Gronke, and other editors from around the East Bay will be manning booths along the route greeting and meeting you.
Just look for our green Patch T-shirts, meter covers, tents and balloons.
We'll be handing out Patch swag — bubbles, pens, magnets, water bottles, T-shirts and more — and letting you know about our mission and looking for your input: comments, criticisms and suggestions.
If you haven't already, you can also sign up to get the daily Patch newsletter.
Do us a favor and share the news with your friends and family who live and work in Alameda!
