The Artemis team will bring a touch of glamour to Alameda's Planning Board meeting tonight with a request for an interim use permit to operate a temporary floating dock, temporary crane, and associated temporary facilities on the taxiway and Seaplane Lagoon in front of Building 12 and Building 40 at Alameda Point.
The Artemis is a Swedish entry in the America's Cup challenge and will be based in Alameda for the sailing event.
Also on the board agenda: design review for two proposed buildings at 1600 Park St. and a presentation by UC Berkeley Landscape Design Studio Students on design concepts for the Northwest Territories at Alameda Point.
The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers, 2263 Santa Clara Ave. You may see the complete agenda and related staff reports on the City of Alameda website.
