The Alameda Planning Board meets at 7 tonight at City Hall, with a relatively short agenda.

The Alameda Planning Board has a relatively light agenda for tonight's meeting, 7 p.m. in the l council chambers, 2263 Santa Clara Ave. The full agenda is available on the City of Alameda website.

Among the items coming before the board:

  • An annual review of the city's development agreement with Harbor Bay Business Park Association and Harbor Bay Isle Associates — essentially an update of activity during the previous year (April 2011 to April 2012). Of note: the transfer of ferry service to the San Francisco Bay Water Emergency Transportation Authority, with actual operation by the Blue & Gold Fleet; planned expansion of shuttle bus service to BART and the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal; construction of a ministry center for the Bay Area Chinese Bible Church, the first phase of headquarters for and the first building in the Esplanade development.
  • Consideration of a variance and design review for construction of a second story worship space for a mosque at 707 Haight Ave. The addition will allow the mosque to provide separate worship spaces for men and women.
