Alameda Planning Board to Tackle Park Street Trees, Food Trucks, Alameda Landing Site Plan Monday Night

Park Street trees, plans for Target store in Alameda prompt public workshops.

Alameda's Planning Board will hold public workshops Monday night, Nov. 28, on the future of Park Street trees and on a new site plan for the Alameda Landing Commercial Center near College of Alameda.

Also on the agenda: proposed amendments to an ordinance regulating "rolling stores" and adoption of .

The board will meet at 7 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers, 2263 Santa Clara Ave.

The first workshop was prompted by in the Park Street shopping district. Board members will review the master plan for the Park Street improvements.

During the evening's second workshop, board members will look at new plans for Alameda Landing that a proposed on lands just to the north of Willie Stargell Avenue and the College of Alameda.
