From the City of Alameda:
A special City Council Meeting on Oct. 30 focus on the pension reform task force presenting its finding and recommendations and a public hearing will be held to receive input about upcoming public safety contracts.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The City is about to begin labor negotiations with public safety and now is the time for the public to weigh in, at the beginning of the negotiations.
