The Least Expensive Homes for Sale in Alameda-Oakland Area

Check out these homes, two of which are listed at under $500,000

Some experts are predicting 2014 will produce a calmer real estate market than we saw in 2013.

They say they'll be more homes for sale, fewer bidding wars and more stable prices.

Last week, we looked at some of the more expensive homes for sale in the region. This week, we thought we'd profile some of the least expensive single family homes on the market here.

In Berkeley, this two-bedroom, one-bathroom home at 1042 Dwight Way is listed at $399,000.

It was built in 2003 and has 600 square feet.

In Alameda, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 415 Maitland Drive is listed at $495,000.

It was built in 1958 and has 1,104 square feet.

In Piedmont, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 53 Cambridge Way is listed at $695,000.
