Alameda Education Foundation Presents Grants for Safe Graduations

Alameda and Encinal receive awards to support safe graduation nights for students

Alameda Education Foundation (AEF) Board member Steve McAdam presented a $500 dollar check to Manya Morris, chair of Alameda High School’s grad night committee, on behalf of the Cognex Foundation.

The award is from Cognex’s “Play Hard” corporate giving program, which supports community recreation, celebration and fun. Encinal High School’s grad night committee also received an award.

AEF facilitates grant opportunities for Alameda public schools as part of its Teacher and Classroom Support mission.

AEF is pleased to be able to help Alameda high school students enjoy a safe and fun graduation night. Thank you to Cognex and congratulations to Alameda and Encinal High Schools!
