Bike Safety Workshop

BikeAlameda is offering a free three-hour workshop, taught by a bicycle safety instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists.

In this class you will learn the basic rules of the road as they apply to bicyclists, how to dress and equip your bicycle, helmet fitting, using transit with your bike, safety information and the main principles of riding responsibly, predictably, and visibly, as well as communicating with motorists by your actions and signals.

Both novice and experienced cyclists have benefited from this class.  Thanks to an IBM Community Grant obtained by BikeAlameda, each attendee will receive a free helmet (while supplies last).
