Living Succulent Sculptures Workshop with Ploughshares Nursery

Come to the Main Library on Saturday, February 5th, at 2:00 p.m., and meet with Ploughshares Nursery to learn how to make living sculptures!  Living sculptures combine the joys of gardening, propagation, and decorating into a quick, inexpensive, lasting, and rewarding project. Open up a world of possibilities for 'vertical gardening' in this introductory workshop!  Participants are encouraged to bring:  wire wreath forms and/or chicken wire, wire cutters, 24 gauge floral wire, sphagnum moss, and some succulent cuttings from home.

Everyone is welcome at this free program, which will be held at the Main Library, 1550 Oak Street.  For more information, please call 510-747-7713.

Alameda Free Library and Ploughshares Nursery are proud to present “Green Thumbs, Green Minds”, a new ongoing program to empower Alamedans to Go Green.  The first Saturday of each month will feature a gardening demonstration at the Main Library.
