Street Closures During Encinal High School's Extravaganza of Bands

Streets around Encinal High School will be closed from approximately 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 during the event. Parking will be restricted on and near campus all day.

The music department of Encinal High School is proud to announce our twelfth annual Extravaganza of Bands to be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013.  

This is one of our school district’s largest events, with numerous visiting bands and more than 1,000 parents and students involved.

The event will include middle school and high school concert band competition taking place in the Encinal High School gym from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., followed by Parade competition down Pacific Avenue beginning at approximately 3 p.m. 

An awards ceremony and presentation of more than 80 trophies will follow at 5 p.m. at the Encinal High School football field.

Street closures will take place during the event.

Please note that streets around Encinal High School will be closed from approximately 2 – 5 p.m. on this day. Parking will be restricted on and near campus all day. 

Closed streets include: 

  • Central from Third to Pacific 
  • Pacific from Central to Fourth
  • Fourth from Pacific to Haight
  • 300 block of Haight 
  • Third from Haight to Central
