Fans were treated to lights-out pitching by Kenna Davis, Katherine Legg Maddie Mersch and Ayako Kiener. Stellar defense was provided in the outfield by a committee of Ashley Roben, Patricia Penalver, and Kamryn Beene. Katie Ohno was a viral wall holding up third base while Kayla Chang and Cynthia Beall teamed up as a 1-2 punch at shortstop and second base. Taylor Andolsek was flashing some nifty glove work at first while Kaitlyn Cassidy was steadfast at catcher for our flame throwers.

This tournament win was the first championship for an Alameda 8U Blaze team.
