Linda C. Avery Ph.D Explosion 7, Bay Area Children’s Theatre Black & Yelllow Beastzz 4

Beastzz made a great showing against a team stacked with tournament players, keeping it close with great fielding and pitching throughout. Christine Warren sped around to stretch a hit into a triple and later bunted for a hit. Mikayla Wong smashed a strong double, and Lily Wilmot pitched four 3-up/3-down innings. But the Explosion got ahead, then kept the Beastzz bats just a little quieter than usual, holding on for the win.
