98th Annual Alameda City Tennis Championship

Benefiting the Alameda Recreation and Park Department ~ Sponsored by the Harbor Bay Club

The tradition continues as once again the Alameda Recreation and Park Department presents the oldest continuous sporting event in the city- " The Alameda City Tennis Championships." The 98th Annual Tennis Championship will be held at the Harbor Bay Club. The tournament will be opened to all adults. You no longer will have to live or work in Alameda to join in on the fun.

They will only have the Class Divisions 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 on September 10,11 & 12, singles, doubles, mixed doubles. Juniors, both boys and girls, will be divided into novice (10-12 years), challenger (12-16 years) and open (14-18 years).  No doubles are offered for the youth divisions.

Entries will be available at your local park, the A.R.P.D. office and the Harbor Bay Club beginning July 6. Entries close on August 27. You must be at least 18 years of age to play. Entry fee is $25 per person for singles and $40 per team for doubles.
