Special Dollmaking Demonstration

As part of East Bay Open Studios, join us on Saturday, 9 June 1pm - 3pm for a special reception and live demonstrations from celebrated Doll Artists Daisy Kiehn and Bonnie Hoover.

For those captivated by the almost alchemical process of creating art dolls, this is a rare opportunity to see two world class artists at their craft.  

Ms. Kiehn, acknowledged to be a master of the figural soft body fabric doll, will be demonstrating her highly personal techniques for building a doll body.

Ms Hoover, whose specialty is embellishment, will be using a variety of materials to decorate one of her highly prized works in progress.

So come by and watch magic in action.
