Pearl #3 Seed in Far West League Playoffs

Alameda's Neptune Beach Pearl summer collegiate baseball team enters this weekend's Far West League Playoffs as the #3 seed after finishing the season with a record of 32-22 overall and 17-10 in league games.

The Double Elimination Playoff tournament begins Friday in Arcata, CA, where the Humboldt Crabs will play host. The first game for the Pearl will be against the #2 seed Atwater Aviators at 3 p.m. on Friday.

No home games are scheduled during the playoffs.
