Pearl Looking to Win Far West League Title

Playoffs begin Friday afternoon, when the Neptune Beach Pearl faces the Menlo Park Legends in Arcata.

Now that the dust has settled on the regular season in the Far West League, the Neptune Beach Pearl has cemented their spot in the playoffs with the #3 seed for this weekend’s action in Arcata, Calif. The Pearl will begin the playoffs facing the Menlo Park Legends at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3. Their last series of the regular season saw the Pearl drop two of three games to the Legends.

Following that game, the Pearl will either take on the Humboldt Crabs, whom they have a 1-2 season record against, or the Southern Oregon Riverdawgs, whom the Pearl split a doubleheader against on the first road trip of the summer.
