Community Update

I have not even met Jimmi Ward, yet, and I am already very impressed. He was able to diagnose, just over the phone, a problem with our hp Pavilion screen going black, as very common with that particular laptop, when the "other place", had had it for an entire week, and been unable to figure out what was wrong. He suggested we replace it with a refurbished hp Envy Windows 7 from Ebay, and told us that Ebay is a great place to buy such things, and to expect that it would cost between $400 to $600 to get a decent one.
We just found one in "Like New Condition" from a good seller and it will arrive in one week, when we plan to call Jimmi to set things up for him to transfer our data and set up our "new" laptop. He is also going to help us to get things set up so that we will be backing up our data a couple times a month, which our current computer kind of crashing makes you quickly realize that it is a BIG mistake NOT to do.
I told Jimmi, "We have found our computer repair man."
Jimmi wasa VERY nice on the phone, and explained things so that even I, a 65 yr. old, not all that good with computers, lady could easily understand what he was talking about, and he took a lot of time with me, and was very patient, and friendly. So, NEVER met the guy, but I think he is GREAT!! Linda Shinn/new to Alameda and also new on site manager at 1901 Alameda Apts., which I think is a great place to live, with unbelievable views of the bay and kite boarders. Can't believe that we live here. We love it.
