Four generations of the local Quintero family have been preparing and serving food or managing the operation of Acapulco. A lot has changed from its humble beginnings in 1953, when it opened at this address as a takeout stand. Today the large restaurant is one of the favorite authentic Mexican food spots to many in the Bay Area. It feels good when the owner greats you at the door. He started working here when he was 14. Presently, his granddaughter is helping by his side. The most often ordered dishes: chile relleno and the enchilada.
