Now closed indefinitely because of budget cuts, this station once served Alameda Point. The single engine station opened in 1997 after the closure of the Navy base here. It was responsible for a three square mile area including the Alameda Gateway Ferry Terminal and the USS Hornet Museum and also responded to major events in the western end of Alameda.
