Pappo
Positioned in the very heart of the Park Street Business District, Pappo is a great upscale dining option for exotic food and drinks. The restaurant serves dozens of original dishes and drinks, including everything from gazpacho and pan-seared halibut to mimosas and fine wines. Pappo has an elegant and rustic design, with bricked walls, pieces of art, romantic lighting and an enclosed outdoor patio with views of the Alameda Theater and Cineplex and downtown Alameda. In 2009, the restaurant was rated by ZAGAT and selected as the Best American Restaurant in Alameda County by KRON 4 news station.
