Most of the sausages (hot and mild Italian, roma, basil turkey) are prepared in-house and the butchers grind all the beef on-site too. Several premade entrees--stuffed chicken breasts, pork chops and beef, rosemary chicken breasts, marinated kebabs, and homemade meatballs--line the cases for customers to bake at home. The deli counter is fully stocked, and roast beef and turkey are both made on-site. Willy Bird turkeys are available year-round and can be ordered in advance for holidays. Customers can drop off knives for sharpening; just ask when the knife man will be in the neighborhood. And, the kind butchers love to give out free cookies, a favorite treat of all the neighborhood kids.
