At almost 1000 feet in length, itMore is the longest draw bridge in the County. The Bay Farm Island Bicycle Bridge runs parallel the main bride. It is the only bicycle drawbridge in the country. No powered vehicles except wheelchairs are allowed on the bridge, which was built in the early 1990s largely with federal funds.

As of the 2010-2011 school year, students from four elementary schools, Bay Farm, Earhart, Edison, and Otis, fed into Lincoln. In 2009, Lincoln scored 10 out of 10 on California's Academic Performance Index, and an 5 out of 10 on the similar school API.

Aeolian Yacht Club

Founded in 1906, the Aeolian Yacht Club at the northern foot of the Bay Farm Island Bridge is an all-volunteer club thatMore features a guest dock, club sailboats and dinghies, and a clubhouse with a kitchen and second-story bar overlooking the water.  The name of the club alludes to Aeolus, the Greek God of Wind. Today the club has approximately 250 members and holds gatherings on its back porch nearly every day as well as regular meals in the clubhouse and Friday night gatherings.
