Originally from Southern California I've called Alameda home now for 10 years.

My husband and I chose Alameda for many reasons, one of them being the great bicycle riding.  Gorgeous water views, flat roads, well striped roads for cyclists, and more.

My job is with East Bay Bicycle Coalition as the Education Director. I'm a BikeAlameda board member, League of American Cyclists Certified Cycling Instructor teaching elementary kids and adults in the East Bay.

I really enjoy teaching bike safety. It’s rewarding to share extremely valuable information with people who seem to really like and appreciate it. I like to make my classes fun and entertaining.

Most of my bicycling now consists of commuting rides, taking my two boys to Rising Star preschool and Edion elementary school.
