Katherine (Kasia) Metkowski, Neighbor

Hi!  I am a Junior from a high school in Alameda and I want to make a difference in the world.

I have been an intern for the Alameda Sun for over a year now. I also volunteer for Rhythmix Cultural Works via Twitter. In addition, I am involved in Model United Nations, Girls Inc., and I flirted with poetry for a semester last year (it didn't work out).

I want to speak four languages by the time I graduate high school. I am already certified in Polish and, naturally, English. I am currently learning German and Spanish.
