Gentle Alcide Is Pet Of The Week!

Hi, I'm Alcide and I'm a gentle handsome guy with beautiful eyes who would love a home for the holidays.  I'm about 4 years old and really love to be petted and sitting with my human friends.

Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter has approximately 50 animals waiting for their new homes.  The shelter is located at 1590 Fortmann Way in Alameda, and is open on Wednesdays from 11AM-7PM, and Thursdays-Sundays from 11AM-5PM.   We're all dressed up for the holidays, so please stop by to visit the animals - and maybe take one home!
