Alameda police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who stole more than two dozen video games from a local business on Tuesday, Nov 12.

The suspect is described as a man in his early to mid-20s, about 5'8" to 5'11" tall, with a thin build.

Anyone who can help identify the man shown in the attached photo is asked to contact the Alameda Police Department Property Crimes Unit at (510) 337-8354.

According to the department's police log for Nov. 12 and a police bulletin, the man took 30 Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation games from a display shelf at the Target store, 2700 Fifth St., during the afternoon.

The man then went into a unisex restroom, removed the discs from their cases and concealed them before leaving the store without paying for the items, police said.
