The self-description “spiritual not religious” has become a common way for people to describe their yearning for the experiential and expansive aspects of faith, and to express their distaste for institutional and dogmatic forms of religion that can stifle the human spirit and lead to exclusive practices.

The Spiritual … Not Religious Journey Group will meet on the first Wednesday evening of the month from 7-9 p.m. to share a light meal and focused discussions on the intersections of spirituality and religion in our postmodern world.

As fellow travelers, we will explore our own spiritual journeys as we reflect on how we can keep evolving as individuals and as a spiritual community. The group will be facilitated by co-leaders and fellow seekers, Nancy Mace and Eric Hartz.
