Urban Cycling 101 Bike Safety Class for Middle School Students and parents

Urban Cycling 101:  Lincoln Middle School PTA, its Walk & Roll Committee, Bike Walk Alameda and the East Bay Bicycle Coalition welcome students to a fun and entertaining bicycle safety workshop.  The session will be taught by Bonnie Wehmann, an Alameda parent and a bicycle safety instructor certified by the League of American Bicyclists.  Learn basic rules of the road, how to properly fit your helmet, take a bike on transit, and avoid crashes by riding predictably, visibly, and communicating with other road users by your actions and signals.

Saturday, September 28, 9-11am.  Breakfast snacks provided!  Prizes available! Middle school students and parents welcome; no bike required.  Lincoln Middle School, Multi-Use Room.
