INTRODUCING: a girl with quite a story to tell, WILLOW!!!!

willow came to the shelter a few months ago pregnant and traumatized from neglect and possible abuse. working with her slowly and instructing all volunteers to speak to her in a "high happy voice" (thanks to animal care coordinator Diane) she slowly overcame her fear of people and has really come out of her shell. now she is all wiggles and waggy tail. the kindness of the volunteers has given this wonderful girl a new lease on life and her journey has only just begun. sadly, during this transition, FAAS management opted for a risky, abortion of her 11 puppies within weeks of their due date leaving willow hemorrhaging and anemic after surgery. thankfully, with much bed rest and love from volunteers, she has once again prevailed... stronger than ever. willow is a just about the sweetest little chunk you'll ever want to meet... she deserves a forever home, after everything that she's been through. she deserves trust and kindness in her life... can you give that to her?
